Privacy

We store the destination URL, short code, creation time, last-use time, aggregate click count, and abuse state needed to run the service. Redirect analytics are aggregated by day, coarse country, broad referrer class, likely bot/human class, and link-age bucket.

What we avoid

We do not build user profiles or store raw redirect IP addresses in link analytics. IP and browser-session values used for rate limiting and aggregate creator counts are one-way hashed with an operator secret. Recent-link history stays in your browser's local storage and is not cloud backup.

Retention

Links expire after 30 days without a redirect and are removed by scheduled cleanup. Short-lived hashed rate-limit buckets are deleted during cleanup. Abuse records are retained only as needed to protect the service.

Important

Short URLs are public and guessable. Never use them to conceal sensitive information.
